Hey guys I don't want to seem like I'm advertising, although techinically I am, but I want there to be at least one good 1.8 server right after 1.8 comes out. So I'd like to show mine, please come and explore the features of 1.8 this thursday, should it be released. Hope I see you guys there.

Does anyone know how to make 2 seperate versions of minecraft that run from seperate jars?

Aether 1.02 wont let you play SMP, so I need to make 2 versions of minecraft.

Do some bin swapping.

Pull your current bin out of your .minecraft folder and put it somewhere. Run Minecraft, get a new bin. If you want to play Aether, swap bins.

You could just quite simply rename the minecraft.jar instead of moving it around everywhere.
Ex: Not in-use Aether Minecraft.jar: rename it to Aether Minecraft.jar or something.
