WHOA! I'm totally amazed!!

I haven't seen any of these so far, and the super laginess is probably your problem, I'm getting normal FPS.

But I have noticed that the lighting on the animated chests is forgeted up.

I have a decent computer, and I'm getting terrible lagspikes of doom. Why do I run worse with a vanilla test version than on 1.7.3 with 30 mods?

I got a hugeass 0.2 FPS lag spike when I entered my server but it went away in about a minute.

I prefer to wait for  the proper 1.8. Even if that means staying up all night on Sunday in almost unbearable excitement knowing there's a pre-release everyone is enjoying.

I'm waiting too. As is, I'm spending my time at the server I frequent creating the coliseum and preping my gear to hop into the 1.8 world the server host is going to add via warp point. Hopefully the mod support for 1.8 will allow for some of the flashier mods without predownloading em as well, like Balkon's weapons and Planes. Any news on the mod support in the leak?
