Google cached version of the site. Wow, that site deserved low bandwidth. But it didn't deserve the bandwidth getting overloaded. Maybe Notch hated the site?

Deserts are boring and not very hospitable.

Progress is slow on the wall.

It takes forever to smelt the cobble into stone and then convert it into stone bricks and then apply it to the wall.
If somnia doesn't come out soon to speed up the smelting process, I'm going to have to get TMI and cheat just to finish this wall.

Oh hey wait, it has been updated

I'm thinking of making an adventure map like this:

You start on a very big desert, with a chest and sign next to you. In the chest, there is a stack of planks, a set of wood tools, and 3 loaves of bread. The sign says 'Survive this desert for 10 days without dying. There are some cacti in the desert with chests near them that have more food.' Anybody capable of doing this will get a desert badge, showing that you are a master of surviving in the desert. There would be many of these types of maps, maybe an ocean map, or a really big ass mountain. Thoughts?

dig 3 deep hole, hop in, cover with planks, wait 10 days

done

considering hunger doesn't fully kill you you should be fine doing this

There will be challenges in getting the badge, such as building a shelter, at least 12x12 with a roof, find a deserted village (made by me, it's pretty far), etc.

Wow. What an absolutely ridiculous guess. He liked the website and linked it to his follows so they could see it. He's done this whole 'link to website, overload it" so many times that I don't even know why he does it anymore. I guess it's kind of impossible not to link to stuff you're talking about though.

Just seems like he has the power to take down a site like that.

So guys, I hear 1.8.1 is out.
