.. Yes.. Place two snow blocks on the ground, then a pumpkin/jack-o-lantern on top. The Jack-O-Lantern doesn't change the head in any way.

I kind of wish snow blocks were easier to get.

Not for the Snow Golems or anything, but what if you need a white easy-to-get material? (I find wool even harder to get)

Wool is pretty easy to get, since the population of sheep has skyrocketed for some reason (shears)

1. Get 2 snow blocks
2. Set up a Golem pen
3. Let them run around
4. Use water to push all the newly formed snow to you
5. Turn off water, repeat 3-5 ∞ times.

Snow Biomes are broken in 1.8.1, so you pretty much can't get snow then.
