There is a biome water shader in the games files I believe.
He just needs to add swamps to it and implement it.

The grass has a type of gradient effect, and the water one was recently implemented for Swamps. But they don't seem to do more than define specific color at the moment. It should also apply to leaves and such; example of the problem being Swamp trees crossing over into plains biomes have drastically different looking leaves and vines than the rest of the tree. Hopefully that will all be cleaned up and refined.

1.8.1 or 1.9 Pre? Edit the version into your post, too. I don't want another dirt wall.

I spawned on a tree, next to a desert biome.
Nothing special :c
I added a - infront of it, and I am in the same biome, but with wolfs EVERYWHERE.

I only have a few more lots to fill with houses and stuff.

I also used mcedit to delete the chunks that I don't need.

Oh wow, that's cool. Only if I had this game.

Actually, I tried it in 1.9 Pre, and directly behind you is a ravine. Even cooler, to your right from starting is a pretty large NPC village pretty close (the ravine ends in it).

no one is hosting someone host and have love with me

I filled the village with enough TNT to take down fifty bull Creepers. That's the village I was talking about, actually huge with lots of farm land. If you wanted to start survival, using that seed would be great for resources and pre-established farming systems. In fact, there appears to be an extensive cave system within the town. I found entrances between houses and such. I even found one TESTIFICATE hiding in a cave while I was filling the city with dynamite. Poor guy, must be scared. Maybe he'll survive down there, even if he isn't that far in. Time to set it off.

That was a huge explosion.. There's some parts of the buildings floating, but I effectively killed everyone within the homes. I'll go check the cave for that guy who was hiding.

SIN SIIINNN SIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNN

WHY MEGASCIENCE
WHY MUST YOU DESTROY EVERY VILLAGE YOU FIND?

He actually survived. :D Such a smart Testificate. He knew the cave could survive Creative level starfishry. Although he left everyone else to die. He had plenty of time to get them.

SIN SIIINNN SIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNN

Actually, I just realized. Despite being such a big village, the one thing they didn't have was a church. This is payment for turning their back on God!

i did the same thing only to a village that size except instead of piling tnt, i filled every space in every house with tnt.

Seriously, try his seed. That village is almost perfect. Nothing half underground, nothing misaligned. The only problem was a cave kind of topping out on one of the gravel roads.
