Does Technic Pack add anything that randomly whores processing power or something?

My FPS is suddenly total ass

I set it to Fast graphics, Tiny Render Distance, Smooth Lighting off, and Max FPS and I'm still getting about 4, but I haven't had any problems the whole time I've been using it before now

The pack has like 20 mods and MC is trying to run them all, This eating you're FPS.

I'm on 1.7.3 for Technic

I think I've figured it out; I'm living in a Millenaire village, and it's grown since I first started, so the population shot up. My FPS goes back up to normal during night time, so I can only assume that it's because there aren't 30 NPC's moving around.

I think the MV mod is the problem, i lagged like hell when i used it but i am fine without it.
