:D!!!!!!
GameChap likes to jump to conclusions on small bits of information. They also made a video about Notch mentioning his dream of Minecraft 2 with varying size blocks and the water shader mod as default, but they made it out as if it was definite for a Minecraft 2. That's handicapped, Minecraft itself isn't even out of beta, and this is all possible in the current game. It was just a dream, if anything he'd apply it as a big update to this game.
Although structure generation is more definite, the concept definitely isn't that straightforward. Don't get so excited when the process too do it is confusing. How will underground structures work? How will you make them spawn? You probably need your own generation data. Sorry to be such a downer about this, but I don't like when people get themselves set up for disappointment. It'll be cool, yes it will.
You could of used logic to figure that out, since there are no major mods for 1.9, and most mods are now 1.8.
He slipped that in the middle. My family has literally drained my attention span and filly it's space with fury, so don't poke at me.
Edit: By generation data, you'd probably have a file listing different generation variables that the game would apply. The problem with that is limited to what it'd accept. And someone always wants more.
