Nowadays they provide automatic video driver update programs, where it detects your card and finds the correct, most updated drivers for it. Besides that, wait for the next PR/RC of Minecraft. If it comes to be, it'll be very optimized. And the full game will be even more so.

I got Buildcraft to work, but now the engines aren't working. I set up a simple machine to transfer items from one chest, to another. I made sure I was correct, I used wood pipes to suck the items from a chest, and stone pipes for the rest. The engines, I noticed are emitting the redstone particle effect, but it is not moving, or doing anything. Any help?

Windows 98 3D Maze Screensaver with Minecraft Textures. :D The only problem is, with newer OSes, the ceiling textures keep bugging onto the walls. but Minecraft's textures actually look better than the originals for that problem, so it's all good. :)

It's a rat. This was a very weird screensaver, it would appear at random and run by quickly. I posted more screenshots of it here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/742142-windows-9598-3d-maze-retextured/

Found a severe bug thanks to a modest bug report ("can't block with enchanted items in SMP")... The server was spamming item data =(

He also had a back and forth with someone. Apparently, for people who run out of memory very fast, the only solution is very low settings. This problem doesn't occur on 64 bit systems such as mine.

Yep, I've fixed that now

This is a response to people saying that touching the bottom of lava lakes using the Fire Rwsistance potion causes fall death. AKA Yay, you won't touch touching the bottom of a lava pool while immune to burning damage!
