Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

To sum it up: "WAAAAH! I BOUGHT A GAME IN BETA AND IT CHANGED!"

Bought it in Alpha, it changed a ton, loved it further. Suddenly, sprinting is added, and I'm totally just turned away by it. I still love Minecraft, I love what they're doing with the game, but something they did has altered my view on the game. When the full one is released, I'll be all over that.

Plad is just being argumentative and Menen is letting his ego get to him.

"The game is in beta" is a dismissive, bad excuse. Notch released a building/survival game to over a million people, then turned it into an RPG and expected everything to be okay.

Now it's just hilarious. You like sprinting because it allows for faster travel after death. I dislike it because it screws my player's vision up, possible resulting in death.

I did just fine before the addition of sprint, survived 330+ days before Notch changed the land generation code on me. I wasn't even trying to have an argument on this, I just stated that I hated 1.8.1, and suddenly stuffstorm!
