first of all, love does NOT work like that, a type of mammal or reptile can only reproduce after its own kind

seondly, female genes are generally dominant. Let's use goats as an example: breed two goats, let's say mini lamanchas (small eared goats). Male has elf ears, female has gopher ears. You're going to have more of a chance to have a gopher-eared baby than an elf-eared baby
