Horde is my favorite and i grew up* with kalimdor.

*First decent-level character and first character.

Also Orgrimmar is cooler.

Building that by hand would take 300+ hours

He used all sorts of scripts + a giant heightmap of Kalimdor.

And something to convert all the objects in the game into the map too, i.e. trees and their textures.
