Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

ok, so there's a zombie dungeon right near my house, and a ravine that cuts open the top part of a stronghold that cuts into two more ravines under 500 blocks away. there's also a river running all the way from my house to the stronghold, my only setback is ice, i'm planning on covering the bottom of the iced river section with jack-o-lanterns. i'm also in close vicinity of swamp, mountain, snow, plane, desert, and forest biomes. if there was an ocean near by the it would be perfect, i always prefer living near the sea.

Not once, not even SMP.
decided today that im going to be a man.
I spawn in the most beautiful forest on the shore of what appears to be a fairly large lake. I see a ravine, and attempting to get around it i fall in (With only a few pieces of wood, just started)
I fall in, land in water. Not that bad, i decide to mine some of the iron and coal on the side.
suddenly i hear SWOOP
i turn and see an enderman, stuff my loving pants. But i didn't look at him so everything is okay for the moment.
and then, another one appears and now im afraid to resume the game

Step 1: GIANT ASS WHEAT FARM
Step 2: MILLIONS OF WHEATS!!!!
Step 3: Find two cows or pigs (Cows are better, as they will always drop at LEAST one piece of meat, if not three, as apposed to pigs only dropping 0-2)
Step 4: Feed two cows wheat
Step 5: BABBY
Step 6: Repeat forever.
Step 7: ???
Step 8: STEAK.

Already have. Is there any way to easily sort baby animals from adults?

Not really, as the parents follow the baby for 5 minutes until they are ready to breed again. So if you try to separate the baby the parents will follow.
