This could cause complications though, since they don't stack together anymore and all.

Don't carry all three types of wood unless you're actually going to use all three types.

You can't stack charcoal and coal
Then that kinda ruins the point of it...
Charcoal is supposed to be an easy alternative to coal. If they allowed you to convert Charcoal to coal, why would they introduce Charcoal in the first place.

Possibly crafting more charcoal into coal?

charcoal should look different compared to coal at least

My opinion is that they should just remove charcoal and have raw wood burn into coal directly.  I hate the fact that they are separate item IDs.

What if putting a single thing of charcoal in the crafting box made a single thing of coal?

Isn't charcoal and coal type different things in their own ways irl?

In Survival, you chop down any trees you find if needed. It can't be helped if you have different kinds in despite times.

new wood doesn't seem like that much of a nuisance
leave it in tree form until you really need it and then break down what you need
in survival at the start that can be very messy, however.

Yes.

In game, however, they function and look exactly the same

>cut down alot of birch and normal trees
>use birch to make tools etc.
>use normal to make a house
Win.

This.

>later upgrade house and add some designs with the birch, pine, Jungle, wood

i love the way birch wood and normal wood look together, although i think the pine and jungle wood is best used for floors. this is going to be a bitch when i'm trying to work with low inventory space though.

Im not sure I like the pinkness of the Jungle Wood.
Hopefully BDCraft will fix that :)

all new blocks I actually noticed

leaves might not be "new" though

For any of you that don't like colored wood, I made a simple terrain edit to change them back.

Place the textures in
