Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6769928 times)

Ike, you are sorta um... how do i say this.... Late to the party?

Theres a mod called Inficraft that adds 300+ new ores and layers of stone and such....

:/

300+ new ores

Are there even enough colors that exist to distinguish them clearly

bedrock is there to make it impossible to fall into the void because it's the way the game was created, bedrock is there because making the game go down for infinity would be too much, it also puts a cap on the game world. and holes in the bedrock do not spawn naturally because the final layer of blocks under bedrock is completely flat, you would only get a hole in bedrock via mods or chunk errors.

in maps generated before the Halloween Update, there were occasional gaps in the bottom layer of bedrock that the player could fall through.

I guess I just haven't dug passed the top layer of Bedrock since before that update

i'm sorry but that's just perfect

So if I'm wanting to play minecraft singleplayer and want to be a cigarette and use lots of mods what would be the best ones to choose? I looked at the mods section in a year or so, so I'm not sure whats hot. Any suggestions?

Millenaire, Fossils & Archaeology, Better Than Wolves, and Buildcraft, and Equivalent Exchange are really popular right now.

Just saying - Even if it wasn't GameChap, I can't believe you believed that. Everyone saw the TNT flying off everywhere...

Guys, how do I efficiëntly hide a button in an underground house to trigger a concealed door?
I can't come up with anything apart from putting it somewhere high at the wall behind the corner.

Place it behind a block, sign, or painting.

Eh.
Put it on a stone block in a dark area.

This. If you look at a stone block with a button on it from straight ahead, the button will be totally invisible.

But if you look at it from any angle that isn't straight ahead, it sticks out like a sore thumb, just do what I said.
