i don't understand how to host so ;-;

1) Portforward
2) Download minecraft_server.jar
3) Run minecraft_server.jar
4) Connect using "localhost" as the IP

That MAD show on Cartoon Network did a parody of Minecraft.
:/

Yeah I know, someone using an alternative solution to host PISSES ME OFF I just want to SMASH something!
"hey, i made a server with a great spawn and nice terrane, all vanilla, totally ungreifed!" oh cool, what's the ip "well, before you do that you need to download this thing that allows you to enter my server, and install it into your .jar, loving up any mods you might already have installed."

it's basically overcomplicating everything for the player.

That looks like a sheep-nun to me.

white sheep are part of the cool kids club

Doubleish-post.

I'm more concerned over his adept ability to jump into conversations and start arguements.

So me and Jacob/Lee played the same server for about, 12 hours straight today. That's a good way to start off the summer.

i have no idea how to instal hamachi, i've never actually bothered to read up on the installation. i actually thought hamachi was a hosting service when i first heard of it, then i found out i had to install stuff to actually join the servers. unless there's some kind of point to joining a certain hamachi server, you might as well go join some other server that doesn't require you to download stuff.

why does this concern you?

why does this concern you?
why?
Because it's everywhere

Even in the topic I made about the two millionth post!
Things like "It's not important" are just bait words to me.
"Fred, it's a forum milestone! Sure, it's a silly factoid, but it serves some importance."
"Naw."

Things like in-game where you're argueing with Ceist and Messes over "What's the ideal way to play?!" and other things. I always find myself getting intertwined with your fights. It shouldn't be my problem, it should be yours, but it isn't.

Learn about what you're trying to bash before you start.

1. Install program (by simply running the goddamned installer, not putting it in a jar file or anything stupid like that).
2. Start up program.
3. Join network.
4. Join IP of the host on the network.
5. Continue as usual.

It's so simple, fred isn't a caveman.

But, dude, it's so complicated I just want to connect without any extra clicks. It already takes so long to connect to a server, I don't want to have to install one program for a single server.
