pretty sure that's a lot different. You can have a mix of higher res and lower rest textures in a texture pack, but like previously stated, not on your actual character skin.

i was just saying that he put the textures on 'steve' so the game should be able to hold it

Minecraft Forge updated and messed up my mods and now I can't continue my build until they are all fixed.

Here you go; one "Elfman Strauss" skin hot off the press. Couldn't get his hair or jacket symbols looking very good because of the way the hat layer is and size constraints (respectively), but I think the rest of him looks pretty snazzy. I'd use it myself if I wasn't already attached to my own skin (no pun intended). Maybe someone with a little more experience could fix any mistakes I made, or work some gypsy magic on that hair & symbols.

Alright everything is fixed but I have one problem.

It can't be dark, even in a fully enclosed room blocking all light it still looks sort of lit.
