why the hell is raiding allowed? in a game where the materials are all mostly rare and hard to work with, i would imagine some friend would just log on at 5 pm and steal everything.

maybe you should stop being an idiot and conceal your chests

if ? is smart he'll install a anti-cheat mod that disallows x-ray and various other mods

You can't go on a server anymore without seeing huge holes digging strait down to mines or diamonds or whatever.

xray and other cheating mods are by no means new.

xray doesnt work with tfc

I know.

Just use an xray texture pack.

i shouldn't have to hide my chests, it's stupid. the problem is how accessible everything is. you feel safe leaving your laptop in your house because no one is going to mine through your wall to take your stuff. in minecraft, you can't even lock your door, and even if you block it people will just smash through your stone wall.

Just use an xray texture pack.

That'll only show you ores that are exposed on at least one side. Still effective though I guess. Just as lame.

I would totally play tfc if it wasnt a stuff to install and there were texture packs for t

it isnt a stuff to install, you probably just forgeted something up.
it's only 3 files.
you install ModLoader first, then you install the TFC client.
then you get Minecraft Forge
when you download Minecraft Forge it tells you to put it in the 'mods' folder for ModLoader. dont do that. just install Minecraft Forge like you would normally, just as you do with ModLoader and the TFC client.

so yeah, you install ModLoader first, then the TFC client, and then Minecraft Forge. do this in order, as that's how i did it and it worked. i dont know what the result would be if you downloaded it in another order.
after that you just get the textures and copy them into the .jar file aswell. just to be safe, delete the 'armor' folder altogether before putting the TFC 'armor' folder in.
