Fire tick probably uses a tick I think

Clearly. I was thinking turning it off would disable fire from checking stuff every tick. AKA it wouldn't go "Okay, time to go out." Best I could determine. Messing with the variable and shooting crap with arrows didn't seem any different, so it isn't projectile firing.

level 30 is max level? wtf how did i not know this i thought it went past the 40's

And people say "They made enchanting too easy" when I think they've at least implied it was never supposed to be so hard and a thing you only do when you run out of things. AKA they want it to be easier, they want you to experiment and enjoy the system instead of being exclusive to dedicated work, especially in servers you might not maintain.
