Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6740948 times)

the computercraft mod is stored in /mods/ComputerCraft and is easily replaceable with the newer version since it doesn't require any replacing of .jar files.

you don't have to restart the sever or anything, though.

redpower computers are literally just a computer craft computer that has access to redpower wires

computercraft does too.

why are we arguing about this if both computers are the same thing

computercraft uses lua and redpower computers use basic

plus i'm pretty sure they generally work differently

and computercraft has turtles which do fun stuff like place/mine/farm/craft blocks/items and kill entities and stuff

and they can move

etc.

oh and monitors too

lua lua lua lua

errors everywhere

Well, wouldn't the people that join have to install the newer version as well, not absolutely sure, If not I'll add it in.

Servers being a forgeter right now guys, still working on it

that would be terrible.
8-bit black and white =/= 1-bit black and white

eeeeh, they probably would, just forget about it.

tekkit update your stuff.

That's why I don't like the tekkit launcher, it really restricts you from adding your own stuff.

I have to get a new wireless adapter for my tower, old one died.  ugh I dont feel like going to get one tonight

no it doesnt, you can add anything you want, but if the server has something the client doesnt, the client has to get that something
just like vanilla minecraft

I'm sorry I wasn't perfectly clear about what I was saying.

It restricts you in a way that adding something is useless because the vanilla version of the launcher will not have whatever you installed therefore not allowing players to connect unless they add it as well.

Is that good enough for you?

DO IT

asraghawragharaghhh

Have a rented server up and going with Tekkit guys.
I'll work on my own server Monday, but for now this should work.

It's up and running and will be 24/7 until I get mine up then I will transfer world over to mine.
Come have fun!
