occasionally when I play, it starts lagging extremely badly, we're talking about under 1 fps. It fixes when I remove fancy and smooth lightning/restarts the game.

This has happened like 3 times now

What generator do you use for that, and is it SMP compatible?

It's the planetoids generator. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1169139-planetoids-v2-125-compatible/

Bukkit includes it for 1.3.2. Nienhaus and I were using it a while ago, when I took that shot.

if the server has the creeper plugin  you can disable damage. it's even better with the land regen plugin.
