Because you guys weren't caring about the snapshot, he's reverting the lighting to the buggy one until 1.5. ;~; You guys could have been tweeting recommendations for lag fixes in loading chunks with new lighting (especially in The Nether with all the lava light source).

i never download snapshots so every update is new stuff :)

The point of snapshots is to make sure you don't need 10 emergency updates after the full release.
