I personally think the general idea of custom maps is ubsurd and stupid. Very few custom maps are actually good. Feed the Beast is pretty much the only good custom map I can think of off the top of my head.

If you guys haven't checked this out, it's pretty cool. It's sort of a hungergames kind of thing, but much more fun.
