Try reddit then.

This. Devs look at Minecraft's Reddit frequently.

Also Quartz isnt clear.

If anything, Id argue about why diamond blocks arent see through, or how they magically become cut upon mining.

Just framed and hung my minecraft poster. It looks pretty damn snazzy.

Huh. All the quartz I've seen was translucent. Perhaps Sonic Ether will make a shiny effect for quartz in his shaders.

It really depends on the Purity of the Quartz. Considering this Quartz grows in a fictional alternate dimension, it probably isnt the clearest.

Try reddit then.

I don't know how to use reddit. Whenever I try to search, it gives me no results even though articles exist on it. In fact, when I click reddit links, it sends me to imgur or other sites instead of whatever discussion is going on about it. I don't understand reddit at all.

If it's a fictional dimension, anything can be possible.

I just realized - in Minecraft 1.5... You might be able to make an automatic furnace system with dispensers, empty buckets, hoppers, and minecarts. Then again, dispensers can't move.

Quartz does have some degree of transparency, but either it isn't enough or it's nulled by all the cracks and tinting inside the rock. If anything, its outside is sort of see-through.

but then again, this is minecraft

Looking at Dinnerbone's pictures, I expect that it will be possible to put many blocks in a minecart. What makes you think Dispensers might not be able to work? Also could you elaborate on this contraption?

I was thinking since empty buckets pick up liquids, having a dispenser against a giant lava lake, then hoppers transporting the lava buckets by cart up to a furnace, stocking the furnace, etc. etc. Problem is the dispenser would need to follow the source.

It's a shame hoppers can't move up, you'd have to use a minecraft for that.

Congratulations, you have nulled every single conversation ever.

Don't worry guys, if you're disproven just say it's an another universe where nothing makes sense.

You're a handicap. I'm not saying they should give us all superpowers and flying carpets and swords pointing out of our spinal cords. I'm saying Minecraft diverges from reality fairly often but stays relatively believable, so why not just make it transparent. It's not a radical change at all, it just make a stone transparent even though it isn't transparent in real life.

Are they going to fix that detector rail glitch where it provides a redstone current regardless of whether a minecart is on it or not?
