i would imagine that hoppers hold their inventory when they are powered by redstone. either that, or they output items when powered by redstone. the latter would be pretty annoying without something like redpower's timer.

Muwahahaha... HAHAHAHA... I made a custom texture pack which just makes the diamond pickaxe constantly spin REALLY fast. :D I'm going to adjust the timing on the animation though.

i'm having more server problems
every now and then, i get a warning telling me the server is overloaded, every 2 seconds, for about an hour in the server log
this is incredibly annoying and makes it hard to read the chat without actually being in-game

is there any way to stop this

I'm pretty sure thats just a glitch with the default server or something. It would happen to me all the time when I hosted.

The ski textures were added in 1.4.6 with the holiday chests. Nothing more was said, though. Might not even get used for a while.

-New redstone features such as weighted pressure plates, hoppers to pull items out and store them, and comparators which check if one input has more triggers than the other.
-Wither Skeletons in the nether, and a Wither boss you make with skulls.
