By the way, I figured out the simplest one-tick clock in 13w03a. Just face two hoppers into each other and place in an item, preferably an unstackable one. Then feed a comparator off one/both of the hoppers and it will continuously give off one-tick pulses.

Wow, me and Etho probably figured this out at the same time. xD I figured it out like two days ago, and then he must have continued testing.

I figured it out the day before his video, it seems likely he figured it out around the same time and was expanding on it for a day, releasing his video the next day. Nothing against him. Maybe he did know longer, but he seems like someone who'd work out what he showed VERY quickly, so I doubt it'd have been in testing for longer.

Etho is intelligent, and it would not take him long to figure out the systems he created, as well as testing them and drawing those calculations. I do not believe I figured it out before him, and furthermore never stated as such. I simply guessed the amount of time from the first step to putting out the video. As such, it seemed likely he thought of it around the time I did. He could have thought of it long before me, but it seems like almost an insult it'd take him that long to construct the whole thing after realizing step one. All that said, this argument should not have occurred. I will quote the original statement for clarity of this:

If you are really that insulted by the use of "probably," then change that to "may have." It could be possible, it might not have actually happened. But that's no reason to be rude toward the person stating it as if that had said many other things they clearly did not.

Well, they are consistently rude for trivial reasons, and at some point they need a more in-depth conversation on the problem. Although I guess it wouldn't help much - just how they are. Can't change them anymore than we can change the laws of time or space.

Nope, I am not. However, they thought I did, and acted as if I thought lesser of Etho. I hold him in high regard, and I don't see where I suggested otherwise. But enough about all this.
