Its a way to transfer Redstone currents down and up easily. Pretty rad.

Notice, it says to stop piracy and fraud. Two people who both own the game. Helping someone by installing mods for them shouldn't violate the intended spirit of the rule.

no but it directly violates their terms and conditions which is entirely illegal. just because i want to carry an assault rifle to make sure people don't get robbed, doesn't mean i can.

Although, to be fair, that was already possible with other setups, like a repeater aimed at where the block would end up

On the subject of distributing to people who already own the game, how do you transfer? They don't want the data going around through third-party channels. Of course people will always pirate, but honest players don't want to promote and enforce the action even unintentionally. It should not only be in good faith, but to help keep forms of piracy down. That's just how I think of it. I mean, they provide the .jars for development versions and even pre-releases of full versions to anyone, but that's through themselves...

You're comparing carrying an assault rifle to uploading a file to the internet? gj
might as well get rid of modpacks because they're distributing an edited version of minecraft.jar
while we're at it, let's get rid of snapshots too
even if you have the jar, you still need to log in to use it
it's a single person installing a mod and giving it to another single person. no large level distribution is happening

i agree, i don't think it violates the spirit of the rule either. trouble is, that only matters when you're not violating the rule. which you are.

When people use 1 coal for 1 thing and let the rest of the left over heat go away makes me loving loose my stuff
glad I'm not the only one who thinks this

i use saplings for less than eight, coal otherwise

i try to use multiple fuel sources to smelt exactly what i have. with 11 items, i slip in a piece of coal, and two planks. with 5 items, i use a sapling/stick first and three planks. the fuel order usually depends on whichever quantity of fuel is lowest, and i try to only use two and have one number as 1, so i can put in one type of fuel, then the second and walk off and program my turtles some more.

Is it reset-able?

13w04a Summary:

* Bonemeal has been nerfed. It now only grows the plant to the next growth stage (i.e. wheat needs seven bonemeal to grow fully, saplings need two).
* Mobs are now scared of minecart tracks.
* Scoreboard feature. You can give objectives to players which shows on their screen.
* Renamed mobs now show their new name above their head when within a certain radius of a player.
* Dispensers now equip players with armor when they're one block away, they activate TNT, and use bonemeal and flint and steel.
* Dispensers and droppers can now face up and down.
* 20+ bug fixes.

* Dispensers now equip players with armor when they're one block away, they activate TNT, and use bonemeal and flint and steel.
wow okay that's pretty cool

* Dispensers and droppers can now face up and down.

* 20+ bug fixes.
bug fixes are always nice.

13w04a Summary:

* Bonemeal has been nerfed. It now only grows the plant to the next growth stage (i.e. wheat needs seven bonemeal to grow fully, saplings need two).I knew bonemeal was overpowered!
* Mobs are now scared of minecart tracks. Having to deal with mob-blocked railways was annoying.
* Scoreboard feature. You can give objectives to players which shows on their screen.
* Renamed mobs now show their new name above their head when within a certain radius of a player.Cool, so this can be used for making custom map bosses.
* Dispensers now equip players with armor when they're one block away, they activate TNT, and use bonemeal and flint and steel. Now all we need is dispensers to use tools and we can have automatic farms.
* Dispensers and droppers can now face up and down.
* 20+ bug fixes.

Also: the scoreboard feature is still a work in progress so they're probably gonna do more with it.

Does that mean we can surround our buildings with minecart tracks and be safe for until the end of time?
