I just found out today that my favorite story-teller/artist released a survival map (and I use the word "map" very loosely) at the beginning of this year called Sky Den, has anyone ever played it? It's sort of like Skyblock on steroids; it requires several mods to play and revolves around a group of NPCs and the quests they give you in a building called the Sky Den, floating among a few other tiny islands in the sky over the void

It's not exactly a simple "download and play" type of thing because of the mods required but I've been playing for a few hours now and it's fun as hell, definitely something to try out if you want something to do

How can I find slime chunks in smp, I've googled a trillion times about it. And each way seems to confusing I'm sick and tired of searching for slimes in swamps.

I know slime chunks can spawn every 10 chunks, I don't know if I want to chew through a diamond pick or two just too see if I've found a single slime chunk and not a double, triple or quad.

its not random if you know the seed you can use that to generate a map of chunks online, also slimes spawn on swamps depending on the moon cycle

I don't know the seed though and it wouldn't really work right? Because since the world on the server was generated a week or two before 1.6. And I've heard certain seeds changed on 1.6 like on 1.5.2 a village was at a different location and such.

Isn't there a /seed command that displays the seed?

Thats a restricted command on kodleeshare. And Trifax said he will talk to me about the seed later today.

I know theres a minimap mod that will show slime chunks
also its pretty much impossible to find slime chunks without outside programs, without luck that is

its not very fast to use, but you get used to it over time
