Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6811689 times)

I think the reason it was crashing was cause I tried to make everything into lava oceans and remove dirt and make the ground out of Gravel and stone
also the world would've been about 140 blocks tall too so idk

I like the large eye'd Nox better. Both are pretty sweet though

Speaking of skins... I suck at making them. If someone could make a skin of this fellow http://kagerouproject.wikia.com/wiki/Shuuya_Kano I would be very happy.

As promised, there was an attempt

Here's the thing: I looked around for references and found a few variations on the coloring, primarily a jet-black sweatshirt, orange t-shirt, and red eyes (this is my first time encountering this series so I'm not sure if this is a difference between anime and manga adaptations, a character transformation, or even just a common fanart color scheme), so I went with the one that matched the description given on the wiki page you linked -- if you want any colors changed just ask and I'll get it fixed up for you

(Note: I toned down the color of the pants at the last second but didn't take new shots)

Glad you like it!

Paint.NET

I don't suppose anyone here knows what any of this means

I tried to stick Harken's Scythe into my custom modpack and everything died, I've been playing without it and I can continue to do so but I thought I'd ask since it's one of my favorite mods and some guy paid $300 to have it ported to 1.6.4

oh well
yeah, it's HS, it looks like someone's using an invalid enchant ID

I figured that it was HS since it's the only thing I've changed since my last successful launch, and actually the first time I attempted to load it up the crash report said there were duplicate enchant IDs so I was like "ok I can fix that" but I either didn't or made things worse, crash report with a fresh config file if you care to take a look

They're almost exact duplicates except one is referring to the Sanguinary enchantment while stating there's a duplicate enchantment ID and the other is about the Soul Attuned enchantment, did I just choose bad replacement IDs? Now that I think about it I chose ones from Forge's list of unused block IDs and I'm pretty sure enchantments aren't considered blocks so...

I don't know what enchantment IDs are unused though if that's the case

Hey Regulith could you upgrade the hair on my skin to make it have more dimension? I could never make it look good myself.

Also minecraft wont let me log in anymore its denying my password

I would but there's really nothing more to do, I think you've managed to get as much dimension as you can on any particular part of a Minecraft skin

Night Fox was creeping on me while I was building  :panda:

enchantment id's from from 0 to like 100 in base game, i'd just keep trying until you hit something unused.

Well theres the hat layer.

Yep I set them all to numbers above 2,000 so good job, me

Thanks for the help

Edit: I set them around 75-80 and didn't crash, excellent

Well theres the hat layer.

I've never seen an instance where using the hat layer to "extend" the hair has looked even remotely ok, you end up with all sorts of weird angles where you can see between the head and the "hat" and it's just blech

I mean maybe it's possible to make it look good, but it's not something I could pull off
