Not until the Windows 10 Edition Minecraft from the store is up to date, the standard java version will not have cross-platform compatibility.

I mean, some people are into that but I can't get into it, I like a sense of progression but not to that extent

I just accidentally spent the last 6 hours playing Blightfall

It's all the fun of Agrarian Skies but without the constant risk of falling into the void that ended my last two attempts at playing it

on my minecraft realm me and a few other friends made a flying machine that we're gonna take to the end islands, im pretty excited



boats go on the purpur halfslabs and the glass stops the boats from falling out the back

we're planning on riding this above the islands until we find an end city/wings. then once we get there we're going to make another flying machine and go back.

Microsoft confirmed that the Windows 10 edition, pocket edition, and console versions will be getting official mod support.

Server list support is coming to Minecraft W10 Edition , as well as VR support, also apparently the W10 edition is coded in C++, and is not a Java mobile port.

Too bad server list support isn't coming to the console versions, it would of been nice since the only other game that I know does server lists on console is Battlefied.

C++ is the reason the W10 edition is getting so much love. It's far easier to work with than Java from what I've heard.

It also runs a LOT better. This should make minecraft run at much higher framerates on stufftier computers. the reason they didn't switch before is because they went too far in but with it sold to microsoft they have the time to do it without TOO many issues.
