It could be done- its just a matter of it getting done.
GarageGames has a wii version of torque.

And you dont need a big company or anything to get it on there- world of
goo was made by two guys sitting in an office. (or something like that, but it was 2 guys)

Example controls:

Nunchuck stick for movement
Nunchuck Z to jump
Nunchuck C to jet
D-pad to move ghost/temp brick
A to use item
B to show ghost/temp brick, again to plant
- to cycle paint
1 to cycle inventory
2 as a shift:
2 and - to get to brick menu
2 and 1 to cycle bricks from bottom
2 and A to pull up keyboard for chat
2 and B to pull up keyboard for team chat
     2 and C to crouch
2 and nunchuck up to move brick 1f up
2 and nunchuck down to move brick 1f down
2 and nunchuck left to move brick 1 down
2 and nunchuck right to move brick 1 up
2 and nunchuck Z to toggle super shift
2 and dpad up to clear ghost brick/temp brick/whatever it is called

It would be interesting is all I will say.  But I don't think Badspot will do it.
Now swing your hammer...

It would most likely work out.

yea i would love there to be block land for wii  great idea :]

No, PC is the only thing it would be good on.

But it's blockland on a TV!

I was just thinking of this. It actually might not be all that bad. The graphics and physics would be better and there probally won't be much lag.

There would BE physics if it was on the Wii. Meaning we could make a titanic and it would float and we could walk on it.

above two posts are stupid.

Badspot isn't going to rewrite code for a wii release and not put it on the pc one, If he was going to do it at all, Which he's not.

Sorry, but i have to agree with tails here. The game would be extremely intricate, wouldn't make a lot of money for Badspot himself, and would take an awful long time to be made (As in coded/scripted/whatever you do for console games) And then afterwards, it would cost money to be made into disk and even if the game DID get onto the Wii, you would have no way of having Add-Ons, so that means no new weapons, maps, music, or RTB. Rather boring if you ask me.

Agreed. Even though he could port most of it. The little details would take forever, and it probally wouldn't be worth it to him.
