Author Topic: Nikon D5000 - New Camera  (Read 5708 times)

As most of you some of you probably none of you know, Nikon just released a new camera in the last month.
It's called the D5000, and I have it.
The camera ranks somewhere inbetween the D60 and D90. They stopped selling the D80, so this is basically a replacement.

Anyway, I just received it via UPS today.
I am here to show you some pictoors.
I would love to hear your comments. (As long as they're not handicapped)

I love having real focus. And a real lens.
It's quite awesome.

Uploading stuff to deviant art takes a while, because of all the information and things you have to click. So I might do it later tonight.

Peace.

That looks amazing! :o

Give it to Jirue so he can post more LEGO pictures :3

I love this idea.

I am pretty jealous :(    I would totally take up photography and do a lot more with Legos if I had such a nice camera.

Edit: how much does a nice camera run?  I don't want the best thing ever, but just a nice camera that takes good close up pictures and such.  I know it's at least 100, but how much more (USA money :3)

You could get a good one for 500

Canon Rebels run cheap, never checked Nikon but I'm sure they have a few cheap models as well.  There are other companies I've never used too, if you're serious about photography though then you'll probably want a Canon or Nikon due to the larger lens line up.

Thats one rusty screwdriver.

DON'T STAB YOURSELF BRO
UR TURN ALL BROWN

I don't really know what to say but I'm kinda dissapointed when I look at the pictures you made with a new cammera and when I look at the picture I made with an cammera I bought 2003.
Maybe it's because you are new to making pictures with this cam?
I was going to buy me a new one but it seems that I'll just stay to the one I have right now.

I am getting used to my camera. However, your image is nothing special.

I know my images weren't particularly good, the reason for this is because I had just gotten the camera and had nothing to take pictures of.
I'm going out today to take some.

Nothing to shoot?  This might have been an interesting texture once.. but in the rain it sure is more than that.
