Which computer is best for blockland?

I don't need tips for lag anymore.  I just need to know which computer is best for running blockland.  Espiacially with alot of add-ons. (I love add-ons.)

I'm running on windows Xp.  Its too old and I can't run on it without waiting 2 minutes for the internet to load.

Turn down your graphical settings.

Thank you Yuki!  I just went to my maximum lag area, and I went from about 632 latency to around 298 latency.( I set my settings really low.)

Turn your physics quality to medium.
Texture quality to medium or Low (I recommend medium, though).
Etc.

Just fool around with some advanced options and such, you can always change things back if you messed up.
I did the same thing for my computer.

You know what I did? I found the area where my internet i the best in my house. Ironically, it was my office :o

You don't buy drivers for your video card, you get them from the site for free. He changed it.
Windows XP and Windows Vista has tied.

Save up for a new computer or a high tech laptop. But computers are actually cheaper. (Last time I checked)

Dont have too many emitters in one area as well. Use bigger bricks. Dont have alot of players in your server. Make sure events are simple.

Computer = laptops. You're probably talking about Desktops.


You have really two choices right now:
1. Upgrade the hell out of your computer (Although it'd probably just be easier to do options 2 or 3)
2. Learn how to build, buy and build a computer.
3. Buy a pre-built computer.

Suggestion, Find places people don't visit and look at, And decrease the brick count of that area, And don't use bricks in areas people can't see

Lowering the draw distance also helps in lag reduction. It can be found in Advanced options.
