Did google fight on it. Ninja versus Pirate, and Ninja wins, but Ninjas versus Pirates, and Pirates win.
So I guess in a one-on-one fight, Ninjas would win but if it was a crew of pirates versus a squad of ninjas, the pirates would win.

Haha, Ninjas have throwing stars and knives, and they can throw their katanas too if they want to.

Plus, if ninjas were fighting pirates in the ocean, the ninjas would most likely sneak onto the ship, and by then the pirates cannons would be useless. The organized ninjas would beat the unprepared pirates, even though the pirates have slightly more sophisticated technology.
