Author Topic: Keyloggers and parents, OH MY!  (Read 5497 times)

Check to see if its an adapter in the keyboard plug...

I have a good solution. Just confront your mother and ask her if he did anything. If she lies, hold a grudge against her for a good year or two.

Subscribe her to gay research.

Jk, find it, and do the above.

Example:
"Hey mom, did you do something to my computer?"
"No honey, why?"
"Don't even lie you loving national socialist bitch, theres a keylogger on the computer that YOU loving INSTALLED,
lern2parent..."
*Storm off

Edit: She can see the creation of this topic in the keylogger... just talk stuff about here ITT and she'll see it, but she can't get mad or you could get mad at her for being a national socialist, then tell her it was a test.

Look for obvious signs, like in the Task Manager Process Window something named "Keylogger". Virus scan. Control add/remove programs - look for suspicious things. Go on your mom's comp and look at her history for keylogger pages.

Install a keylogger on "her" computer.

Parents being a little to nosy really pisses me off, neither of my parents have even used my computer in the past year or two. I am glad for this.

hammer+parents comp=you won the war.

Yeah, and a tablet won't work either.
Maybe the Keylogger will show up as a process in Task Manager?
Edit: Oh, and that won't work either Azimuth

Good lord I'm glad no one can access my laptop except me.

Fingerprint scanner ftw.

anyone see anything fishy?

Will do other ideas

Well, depending on the keylogger, you may be able to track it down with a good ol' virus scan.
I know that my friend's parents put a tracking thing on his computer a while back, and it was bugging him, so he installed a keylogger to find the password to the program and change the tracking settings.
The one he used is normally a virus that steals information from you, so that is why I say to run a scan.

Edit:
I don't see anything suspicious in that process screenshot, and I googled any of them I suspected.
