Its not a different game, its the same stuff with different characters and campaigns.

People have indeed complained about the fact that the game can take place in daylight, which 'ruins the mood'.

You don't know that it's the same as the first game. Valve doesn't do that. They haven't even went into full detail about the new content.

I don't support Valve's decision to make Left 4 Dead 2 this early considering Left 4 Dead lacks the content necessary to consider it a complete game, but I don't support the angry whining friends who are trying to boycott the game because I guarentee you that whenever one of them gets pissy and tries to form an argument, it will consist of one or more of the following points:

On the subject of community, I do believe that it will be split to a certain extent, but not to the point that it would really matter too much.

I will not buy L4D2 unless they get their stuff straight and release it as a pay-to-download expansion off steam. I mean come on, we should actually be getting this stuff for free.

That being said, I think it's too much content to be released as a free update, but not enough to be released as a retail game.

But whatever. I won't be buying it as a standalone game for the reason that VALVe broke their promise to us. If you feel the same way, join this steam group.
