Author Topic: Who here is going to buy L4D2?  (Read 8765 times)

You shouldn't be mad at anyone. They made a new loving game. People say that it's L4D with different characters and the different look (ie. daylight) that makes the game unworthy of their purchase. Then other people - in fact, sometimes the same people - say that it's just a reskinned version of L4D. Self-contradiction and twaddlespeak at it's finest says I, and it leads me to one conclusion:

The majority of whiners just don't want to spend more money, like they know they will: so now they've gone and talked theirselves into hating it, childlishly, so that they might not buy it after they're finished convincing themselves. Valve plays the wounded parent in this scenario.

What did the virus come from?!

its a mutated rabies virus dumbass  :cookieMonster:

I wont but my dad will prbbly
The game looks retarted, Daylight cmon, people like dark scenarios
People will just abuse the melee weapons
L4D2 looks like it will ruin the Versus gamemode
Incidenary ammo? This isnt James Bond!
For PC, Ill just replace the L4D2 models with the originals
What was Valve thinking?

You fail at game design logic, aka you have no idea what you're talking about.

All of the people who complain and whine about wanting it to be a DLC, you're loving handicapped.

Valve can do what they want to do. HL2:Ep3 will come when it comes, get over it.

And, personally, Half Life isn't as great as everyone says it is. It's just a generic FPS with some nice storyline.

I, for one, am going to buy L4D2 because I loved the first L4D, and I'd like to see what they put into the second.

I'm not going to buy L4D2 and I regret purchasing its predecessor as well because it failed to capture my attention with truly interesting gameplay apart from "point and shoot". It really is just another generic FPS with zombies slapped in. I have no hope in the Left 4 Dead series.

When somebody makes a zombie game with barricading and inventory management, then I'll be interested.

im not going to buy it now i spend all my money on blockland lol

RE5.
And if you don't like that, well forget you. :D

That's a survival horror, linear storyline game.

Zombie Panic: Source?

What you carry affects your weight, and I think I recall people making barricades.

Well, it kind of has Zombies, has Item Management and has Barricades.

A note to all you whiners: Buying L4D2 is an option, you don't have to buy it. You are complaining over a disc, a bunch of pixls, and made up people. If don't like it, don't buy it. Again I repeat you don't have to buy it. So get your asses out of that chair and go do something else other whine like a spoiled child.

Thats what the SDK is for, I have a basic gathering Map/mod and there's a barricade script as well. The SDK hasn't been out for that long so you really can't expect much, the reason I love L4D so much is its a base zombie game, with a few users mods and edits it could be some epic zombie games.

And what I meant by Base Zombie Game is that the fact the game doesn't die online with more then 4 AI's.

Hey, it needs to be free for Valve Complete Pack owners. >:V
