@Leeroy
I see the fact that I should hve expected a list like that from someone with your name but you must be trolling or mentaly retarted. First of all the weapons you suggested are way out there, spas 12 is a clunky and poorly constructed gun with kickback that would fall out of your hand. He did say things that you would be able to aquire in the event of a zombie outbreak. Another thing is full automatic weapons mean you will go through ammo so much faster and the ammo more hard to find. A shotgun is a big no no because the sound if it will alert tons of zombies in the area. Soda beer and other alchoholic drinks are a bad idea also because then with soda you have a crash and with beer your drunk. And if your drunk and have shooting all over and rotting zombies wanting to eat you something won't end well. Saying swat for allies? The police force would be off trying to regain security and make safe buildings. With all those people calling inabiut the zombies most police would likely be doing something, helping others, or dead. The humvee would pretty much be non-existant, unless you live by one of their factories (which I doubt) no way you would see one of those. Sentrees are one of the big things making me think your trolling because really!? Then the food and microwave would just be extra crap to haul around, you would be better off with the RTEM's (ready to eat meals or whatever the military calls them these days) because corn dogs are unhealthy and won't keep you going and in shape to fight. The iPod thing must be your idea of a joke so whatever you say. But really all those weapons and swat AND a hummer with a 50 cal.?

For everyone that wants to use a car, that's pretty handicapped. You can only get so far on one tank of gas. Gas stations would most likely be abandoned and not have power running to them, so you wouldn't be able to use them. Not to mention the roads would probably be packed with wreaked/abandon cars, so you would either have to drive around all of them, or clear them out of the way first, then drive.

A bit too much L4D, I see.

Actually what you could do is car hop, if they are all abandoned, if its a highway they shouldnt be that close, so it'd totally work.

Since I have been mean to some people for being dumbasses here's my list. (Other thing is really I would go off to an oil rig but if I stayed on land here is what I'd have)
-hiking packpack
-spike shoe pieces to aid in climbing
-.22 rifle with a package of 500 shells with a home made silencer
-9mm handgun with give or take around a 200 round package and extra mag
-katana *I know it might sound stupid but it would help to decapitate zombies
-hiking hooks
-water cantine
-purifier pills
-basic medical kit to help with cuts and such
-ready to eat meals from any military expo store
-crowbar for breaking into houses
-flashlights and lanterns
-flares x2
-crank up radio
Now I know I have slot on my list however 9mm goes in a pocket. The various survival needs inside. I would use a sling for the .22 and keep the katana at hand most of the times. Too most of the tomes I would take refuge in taller trees.

On the side topic on using cars:
That was a good point saying that you'd probably run off on one tank of gas and not get much more. However unless your planning to use the car for offroad your going to be out of luck. On the highway it would be like a junkyard of abandoned cars, however. Many people would try to use cars to get away too and then they get stuck in a jam they will be like canned meat. Therefore you will probably have many trapped zombies inside abandoned cars plus it would just be better off to avoid the crowd. Instead of just taking a car take a boat? Zombies sink and if you have a purifier and a good fishing net and a group your for the most part set.

Agreed
You would be able to survive on a boat and escape better than taking a car, but the infection could spread into the water and fish would also be a problem, as any blood in contact with yours makes you become a zombie. And you would think that since zombies don't need to breath they would be attacking fish, and then that fish will attack other fish, making it spread.

@slugger
Well I'm Mainly saying my ideas assuming that the zombie virus isn't Zoonotic (meaning that it can go from human to animal or animal to human) however yes. The zombies would probably slightly mess withthe fish but too the zombies would sink to the bottom on the sea and if you were out far enough in the sea the zombies probably wouldn't alter the fish's trends.

Needs to be a rule in op that all the lists have to be loving realistic. Not what you wish you had. I'll probably look at some things I have and make a new list. I haven't made a new one in ages.
