Large teams of armed soldiers could clear cities over time, if you nuke it not only are you destroying the area but you're irradiating it. Just start within the city and work your way out.

It takes an ass load of time.  They will not prepare an army for us in the middle of nowhere, they cannot possibly clear out every suburban area.

Population in a suburban area is really big.  Watchyou talkin' about boy?  Its a zombie Apocalypse.  Do you think they will be saving nukes for what?  The world is ending, what do you THINK they are going to do with nukes, bomb some enemy in the war they are in currently?

They will use the nukes, no matter how devastating it is.

I'm talking LARGE amounts of zombies. Nuking Manhattan vs nuking Staten Island.

In Manhattan there are ALOT of people compared to Staten Island, a suburban area (sorta kinda pretty much). Yes, there are people in suburban areas. Are there enough people to bomb it? No, it's a waste.

In reality, if a zombie apocalypse where ever to occur (never) it's unlikely that Nuclear Weapons would be used in highly populated areas unless the infection is limited to that one area. The fallout and overall devastation wouldn't be worth it.

Population is pretty much high at both of those areas.  Not saying they are at the same population, they are both high populations.

Lol.  They are not going to launch nukes on the spot.  Once it gets to a level where "ogm, the world is getting heavily populated with zombies" then we launch them.
