The last I remember Ephialtes was going to make it so RTB will crash anyone who still uses it, or something along those lines.

He did, the update screen came up and froze the game because of something nasty he put on the RTB server which 1.045 kept asking for. Unfortunately, it started making the server freak out, so now there's adverts for retail.
