Yeah, this change is a change for the better.  Voicechat is for stretegy or actually talking about the game or something.  Just idly chatting is fine, but blasting stuffty music with a lot of static through a server defeats the purpose.  Sure, there's those moments when it can be funny, but "PINGASPINGASPINGASPINGASPINGA SPINGASPINGASPINGASPINGASPING ASPINGASPINGASPINGASPINGASPIN GASPINGASPINGASPINGASPINGASPI NGASPINGASPINGASPINGASPINGASP INGASPINGAS" isn't funny in any context.
