I don't know why it failed so horribly. It was a good system with good games and a lot of potential, but for some reason the whole console just fell flat on it's face only a year and a half after it's launch.

I'm thinking of getting it at my local pawnshop. I was so surprised that it was $10.

See if it was manufactured on or before October 2000. If it is, you can download and burn homebrew/official games onto a CD-R and play them in the Dreamcast

Nice. But, also make sure the plugs are the right ones built for the dreamcast. One guy on craigslist was just selling a dreamcast with generic AV cables that didn't even fit into the dreamcast plug.

Make sure the end of the power cord that plugs into the Dreamcast looks like one of those.

I've always wanted a Dreamcast from Europe just because of the different color logo...

I plan on spending my birthday money on a controller and VMU of each different color, a Rumple pack thing, Seamean with the microphone, and a Fishing Reel controller so I can play Soul Calibur Wii-style.

its got die hard arcade and thats why its awesome ( becuse the arcade version rock the world )

My mum's friend's son had one. From my experiances he had these games
