Well, I just uploaded a house (or two) to the Sims 3 website.
Personally I find it pretty danged awesome, however I wanted to see what you guys thought about it; seeing as some of you are probably really good at making houses.

Sims 3 has maybe 2 things better then sims 2. Which is the free roaming and pixel shader graphics

apart from that sims 2 is better, Untill the next 30 expansions are out.

Exactly.
But hey, in this one they have a Prius!

Oh and more exact furniture placement.

I find the building design in the game very limiting.

As long as they have that ripoff store, they wont need to put out expansions. And still no hot tubs anywhere!!! I wish someone would figure out a way to mod one from Sims2 into the exchange. They're becoming increasingly cheap and limiting on that game, and I'd have to say for that reason, I'm sorely disappointed with Maxis and Sims 3. I might just go back to the original Sims simply because I have more to play with and more to do.

Interesting, although I think for the most likely $50+ that they'll be asking for it, I don't think 1k sim points is really enough to browse a store, not to mention that I have yet to find something I'd want to buy from it. And I'll beat it to death, but if they had a hot tub, I'd so buy it.

sims 3 sucks since EA put all the good stuff into a dumb shop and you have to pay for it.

Well they already are putting out a expansion.

Great. Now everyone has to buy another 15+ expansions to do everything possible in the first game and more. Not to mention all this "stuff packs" full of hard-to-assemble IKEA stuff and h&m whatever its called. That sucks too.

They have China, but not Japan? forget them

Hopefully theyll eventually come out with an 'everything' pack like they did with Sim City 4. Sims 2.

Everything EA has a part in is a disaster. They are all greedy friends who ruin games by rushing developers and dumbing everything down to make it more markettable,  making potentially awesome games into stuffpiles. My favourite example is SPORE. With a bit more time and less simplification it would be an amazing game. As it is, it's just a stuffty repetitive kiddy game with absolutely 0 "replay value". Let's face it; If EA didn't exist, many games would be 10x more enjoyable.

Hopefully theyll eventually come out with an 'everything' pack like they did with Sim City 4.
huh, Simcity 4 only had one expansion
