Finger Positioning

[Crunchie]

So I've been playing games with my fingers positioned like this for my whole life and I'm pretty sure it's "wrong". That is;

Middle finger on A,
index finger on W,
thumb on D

 It works for me though, so I guess it doesn't matter. How do you position yours?

edit: haha, clearly my positioning is handicapped.

I would always have it Ring finger on A, Middle finger on W and S, index finger on D, pinky on shift, and lastly thumb on space.

I have no position at all.
And I don't type using the "home row" method, either. I type much faster without using the "home row" method. I can, however, mess up quite a bit sometimes.

and Thumb on the table right below the spacebar

Ya, I can't imagine using my thumb to strafe, in fact I have trouble picturing anyone doing that due the to huge discrepancy in reaction time of the thumb vs. fingers.

In any online FPS I can either picture crunchie always strafing left or always dieing.

I use my left hand cause my keyboard's always on the left of the mouse, which is what i'm used to

Pinkie on A, Ring Finger on W, Middle Finger on D and Index Finger on F, i use my Ring Finger to use W and S, cause W moves forward whereas S moves backwards in most games, my Thumb is on the Spacebar cause that's jumping in most games, for games like Garry's Mod, Synergy and games with voice chat, i use my Index Finger to hold V to talk, or B if that's my voice key, i also use my Index Finger for talking in the chat box by hitting T with it, or Y for team chat, the Middle Finger hits E, my Index Finger hits R, my Pinkie hits Q (For Last Weapon in Synergy/Spawn Menu in Gmod)
