I knew I could get Ephi to come out of his hole if I prodded him enough. Just think, mere days ago this is how he talked about announcing to people that a model to brick converter was possible:

(13:54:14) Ephialtes: you're making a blb exporter?
(13:54:27) Trader: i have made one
(13:55:53) Ephialtes: me and thegeek have had one for ages
(13:56:03) Trader: why haven't you made more bricks then
(13:56:09) Ephialtes: couldn't be bothered
(13:58:09) Trader: have people submit their models, and, if they're good enough and would be appropriate for conversion to bricks, they get added to a catalog
(13:58:16) Trader: and then people can browse the catalog in-game
(13:58:20) Trader: and download the bricks they want

Seems like "whoring" my brick exporter, as it were, has spawned a slew of creativity in the community. Some of the results are good and some aren't so good, but when people make good bricks for Blockland, we all win. There's just no need to be a richard because you want to control the flow of information as to what's possible in Blockland.
I encourage anyone with the talent to do so to come up with ideas and models for bricks that would makes sense to have in Blockland. Let's make some cool stuff.
