It's not the tool but the artist.

Also, look at some decals that come with Blockland. Try to follow the style that fits with the game. Don't rush it, take your time... especially since you aren't very good yet. That's all I can think of.

another theme you could fallow is Lego any thing in a Lego format should go well with blockland because of this...\/
