I now have full glass and am closing Oblivion gates cause I'm lvl 21 :D awesome sigil stones ftw

I just figured out how to enchant weapons :D

Alchemy is great if you want to use potions and stuff, but quite honestly it's not worth much effort.
If you can poison a stuffload of 250 or so arrows, and get a bundle of Healing Potions working then you're in pretty good shape. Yet still, not completely worth it unless you want to be constantly pressing that bound key.

Also, the fact that the monsters get periodically harder and more frequent to match your level kind of pisses me off. I expected to get that whole "Hi, I'm Jesus Christ! *Strikes down Daedric Lord*" when I hit level 72. Not exactly...

Instead I get uber-ass motherforgeters the size of Godzilla to fight in the Meadows. In the Meadows.
Frolicking through the flowers comes with a price now, not just a couple of deer and wolves.
But gigantic loving trolls instead. It's great.

Also, if anyone could help me out with the "Hugantic Heist" quest for the Thieves guild, apparently the Blind Monks that are supposed to give me the scrolls can see perfectly fine. At least well enough to throw hundreds of critical hits on me with a Katana? Wut.

That's like saying bittorrent is piracy.

Not at all.  I kind of know what you're getting at.  You're saying that it just CAN be used for piracy.  Sure, there are times when CD drives break, or they don't even have one (Wat.), but face it, most of it's use is piracy and being lazy.  For his case, it does fall under back up copy.  Still, better to be safe than sorry.  I would have jsut pointed him to the steam version, myself.

Realize that being lazy and not using disc but still owning the game is fine.

I use a no cd for oblivion because its disk makes a racket in my dvd drive.
I have to use no-dvd thing for GTA San Andreas because mine doesn't detect it even though I have the disc.
Also for Diablo 2(before I registered the key on blizzard and am able to download it from website) I had to use a crack as it didn't work either.

I'm not saying it's illegal, but really pathetic.  Maybe Valve should let us use CD keys/scans for games.  That would be so nice.

Or maybe just let people give away games they already own

HOW DOES THAT RELATE AT ALL?!

HOW DOES THAT RELATE AT ALL?!
STEAM
GAMES
CD KEYS/SCANS
 DURRR

How does proof of owning a game for steam download translate to giving someone a game you own?

how does buying a game and then giving it to someone translate to this?
(/idiocy)

Madmitten, I'm talking about one thing, then you think I'm discussing steam in general.  Please go, right now.

Pathetic?
More like efficient in playing the game faster.

And elaborate on what you mean about valve+cdkeys/scans, why would they scan and why would they need keys? They use steam+accounts.

I mean, you either scan the disk or give the key, depending on what the game has.  Valve allows you to scan the game disk and they will probably give you a key, if you lost it on another account.
