I might have misread this, but Washington Seattle and Washington DC are located in different parts of the US.

I left it idling for close to seven hours today ant nothing but a bunch of disconnect/reconnect messages and other weird messages.

I deleted it. Because I can't discard weapons from it, So next time i play TF2 i have to take the little game time i have, and take some away to delete my duplicates. >:(

open the settings.txt and TADA options allowing you to set duplicate deletion on and whether to keep the new item or the highest level item.

I got 10 hats in one day (was glitch, Valve took 8 since then) of playing.
I got 2 hats between lunch and dinner in first day of idling, too.
