We get Portal stuff, people go nuts over it, we get Half Life stuff, people go insane over it, we get Halo stuff, the maker gets flamed

A lot of people hate Halo due to it being overrated or something like that, i personally don't mind Halo stuff in Blockland, as long as it's good and done right

Most of the people that hate Halo is because it is a main stream game that loads of people enjoy. A lot of those people happen to be 7-year-olds who spam the mic, but it's pretty easy to ignore them. It's a great game, very well built, but because it's mainstream means that hardcore gamers aren't allowed to enjoy it. Go figure. Really, I'd like to know why everyone here hates it so much.

On-Topic: As for the people who don't like this idea because it was inspired by Halo, I have my own idea.

A plasma grenade.

What it does:
When thrown, it sticks to players.

What it looks like. A futuristic ball that glows an alien-like color such as blue or purple.

Judging by the posts in the topic, this isn't the case.

I wouldn't want it because then when we'd end up with a bunch of idiots who come to this game FOR the Halo mods, then the community would crumble.

           The Sticky Grenade it self is a good idea but some people can't get over its from halo so they come here to Stress their anger out on the some people who do like halo stuff. 

           Personally I liked the idea of the Spartan Lazer and the mongoose, weapons and Guns sure that's ok. BUT when it comes to Maps and Player mods that's when I put my foot down.

I Agree, its also has a practical reasons like when your damn He-Grenades Bounces  all over and blows the forget out of every one in the room.  its a good idea and you can scratch the fact that its from halo. (you know for people who don't like these Type of things just because its from halo)

Right now, I think the community has pretty much crumbled. I'm doubting it will get much worse.

The blockland forums (stereotypically) started hating halo because of the previously mentioned 7 year olds who "Spammed the mic".
After they found blockland they all decided that halo weapons would be awesome,  leading them to spam the forums.

Half-life add-ons get away with existence because of their community generally not being idiots.
(Plus they had some cool tools we could copy)

I enjoy Blockland, Halo, and Half-life. and there's nothing wrong with the games.

To the general users who request halo stuff: I support requests from Halo... but could you do it a little less annoyingly?

Sticky grenades would be fun. If they were in Blockland, a longer delay might be better as well. Set it further apart from the other grenades.

We accepted a nerfed version of a nuke. Its still overpowered and exploitable.

Besides, Halo has nothing to do with Nukes.
