I've played the DS version like 2 years ago, which was pretty bad.

Can anyone shed some light on the old series?

Star Fox n64 was the best IMO. Flying around shooting lasers pew pew and DOING BARREL ROLLS.

I appear to be rather alone on this (although mr jman and all his fans liked it) But i though Star Fox Assult was good.
