I was home schooled from 1st-9th grade and there's nothing wrong with m- You know I think you have a point.

Well,I've been homeschooled for a while. But i went to school for 3rd grade, worst situation EVER.
The teacher was like a dictator and half the stuff i learned in 1st grade. So personally, I think people who are homeschooled tend to be smarter.

What's the square root of 144 tails?  :cookieMonster:
I know,I learned that in 4th grade. Square root of 144=12.

No silly, eleventy-six.

So being homeschooled turned you into a trap?

So, you're in 4th, or 3rd still?

I don't think its legal to be home schooled in israel.

I wouldn't lose anything.  I finish my work and it'd only help, and I can go without a handicapped curriculum of stuff I ALREADY loving KNOW

I was about to start a topic like this!

That video put it best. What if you and your "teacher" don't get something? Wait till college recommendations, hahaha!

I just started homeschooling this year and I'm having a blast. I never was very social, so I wasn't affected much by that part of it, I still get to see my friends on the weekends. I'm going to start working through some sort of self-study guide for the GED soon so that I can at least try to graduate high school before all my former classmates.

To answer some of the questions in the original post: I'm home schooled because I wasn't learning a lot in school. For example, all I learned in Science class was how much my teacher hated the organization that wouldn't allow him to have pink flamingos on his lawn. Who's homeschooling me? I'm learning everything myself through books.
Also the video was hilarious, and I'm pretty sure it's obvious by now that I enjoy homeschooling. I'm not very sure what you're on about.
EDIT:

Well for me, I'm no good at math, and neither is my mom (the stay home parent), so starting this month I'll be having twice weekly sessions with a math tutor.

I wish i was home school'd.
I was homeschooled in kindergarten, then stopped.

I could probably learn every loving think in my grade in 1 day but instead i waste 7 hours of my life a day.

woo

Homeschooling is probably the most superior type of education. To hate it is extremely stupid. In the US, the public school system is a joke. Gifted students are forgeted over, and there is a general atmosphere of hate towards learning.

Homeschooling does not make you less social. It makes you more intelligent.
